10 Amazing Reasons Why You Should Watch Anime

My People have come to the right place if you are wondering why you should watch anime in the first place. Apart from the majority who have already watched and admired anime shows, there will be some who have never really dedicated themselves to the genre.

We all grew up watching cartoons, but it’s very difficult for an older audience to meet the audience’s demand. Many people may have gone years without seeing an animated picture, but anime has been demonstrated to be more healthy than other forms of entertainment.

I understand if you’re hesitant at first, but check out some well-known anime series, like kuroanime and, if you’re still not convinced, here are some reasons why you should watch anime today.

1. It’s a lot of fun!

Anime is entertaining as hell! This is perhaps the most basic of all the reasons on my list, but it is arguably the most important! It’s all about fast-paced, interesting, and thought-provoking stories that are kept moving by high-octane action scenes and enough drama to hold anyone’s interest!

2. Binge-watching is a breeze!

You know that you will become so interested in a TV show that you begin from the start and binge watch a couple of seasons… But what exactly really happens when you catch up? And you’re left wondering what to do about your time till the next season comes out? You may have a long way to go before you run out of episodes, depending upon what anime you choose—long-running shows like Naruto and One Piece each comprise over 700 episodes.

3. Thrilling action scenes

And it’s not just fighting scenes! Anime is all about action, or the way it’s written encourages into the plot of any storyline. Even filler episodes usually have something to do with something fascinating. Fight scenes, in particular, may be spectacular because the use of animation as a medium allows for a level of innovation that is impossible to achieve with live-action.

4. It explains Japanese culture

This one is a little more subtle, but each anime is loaded with facts on Japanese culture; from common words and colloquialisms to major festivals, holidays, mythology, and folk law, each tale includes a little piece of a magnificent culture.

5. Characters with strong female themes

Meant’s a common misconception about how anime depicts women, but I’m here to tell you that, appearance aside, female characters in anime aren’t there to serve as male fan service. Women in anime sometimes fight against men as well, and they’re just as likely to kick-ass and call each other names as the guys.

6. Anime can be related to

Not the storylines in specific, but just because something is animated does not make it realistic or relevant. The majority of animes will have serious moral concepts derived from real events. Decision-making, the means of overcoming loss, and the value of familial bonds are all emphasised in practically every anime you see.

7. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS

What is the most challenging storey you can think of? Perhaps it is an animation for that. Tomorrow’s school? check. Does a universe coexist with any number of myths creatures? check. A man’s journey to eat magical fruits and become a pirate king? check. There are no restrictions on the worlds or characters that exist, it’s really great.

8. The characters are fascinating and unique

Characters in anime are extremely colourful and unique. People in anime have complicated personalities, they’re whole people (even when they aren’t human), they have aspirations and objectives, and there’s just a lot of variation in who they are. Ghosts, detectives, ghouls, pirates, demons, high school students, office workers… the list is never-ending, and there is no limit to what or who a character can be.

9. Characters have flaws and die

Characters in anime are not spared by plot armour, which really is sort of the inverse of number 2. Even the most important character of the floor is likely to die and blemish. In anime, perfect characters don’t exist, and if they do exist, it’s usually because it’s being set up to prove a plot point.

10. It is infrequently cancelled.

There’s nothing like being completely committed in a TV show only to have it cancelled by the network *cough* Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency *cough*, yet this rarely occurs with anime. Either the show ends when the storey does (Fullmetal Alchemist) or it continues in an attempt to keep up with the manga (Fullmetal Alchemist) (One Piece). And even if it is cancelled, you can always continue reading the manga.
