Rocky Mountain is at the foot Vancouver’s North Shore Mountains. It is known for having one of the most diverse and rugged natural terrains in the world.

Engineers at the Rocky Mountain Development Centre have direct access to the terrain for testing their bikes and other designs. In 1981, they began creating mountain bikes with high quality and performance for mountain bikers.

If you enjoy riding on local trails or taking to the wilds of nature, the Rocky Mountains has the bike for you.

Our goal was to create an best mountain bikes that felt natural from the beginning. We’ve completely redesigned the new Powerplay lineup to build on the success of the Powerplay models and push the boundaries of high-performance e-bikes. We’ve carefully integrated new features into our Dynamo 4.0 drive systems with a rider-focused design. The Powerplay bikes are at the forefront of e-bike innovation.

The Powerplay battery’s capacity has been increased to 720Wh. This will allow you to ride more.

The drive was designed to fit the bike and not vice versa.

Powerplay frames can be used to drive off-the-shelf drives. Pivots can be placed anywhere. Suspension design gives us maximum freedom. The engineering team at Rocky Mountain has an opportunity to imagine, create, and, most importantly, ride the bike they want.
